We think it’s great that you want to find out more about our church! The information in this section is dedicated to filling you in on what we do, and how you can become part of our church family. If you’re wondering what to expect during our Sunday Worship Service, the steps below will also help you plan your trip when you choose to visit us.
What to Expect
Here’s the deal, at FaithWay we care about one thing above all else – Jesus Christ. We’re a family of imperfect people who have put our trust and hope in Jesus. And we just want to share that hope with as many people as possible so others can experience the same freedom we’ve found!
We definitely don’t do it perfectly, but we strive to live for Christ in all things. Whether we’re worshipping together on Sunday morning, serving our community, or going about our daily lives throughout the week – we want to keep our eyes fixed on Jesus and our words and actions reflecting the love of Christ.
When you are visiting any church for the first time, the unknown factors can make you a little nervous. We do not want unanswered questions to cause you needless anxiety so we have attempted to provide answers to some common questions such as: Where do I go? What time do I show up? What’s here for my kids? What do I wear? What can I expect?
We want to put you at ease. Your first visit to FaithWay Community Church will be refreshing, friendly, and enjoyable for your whole family. We want you to experience the presence of God. We want you feel the love of God and hear the Word of God! You may find the following information to be helpful as you plan for your visit.
WHERE DO I GO?
When you arrive on the property there will be someone to greet you at the main entrance of the church building to assist you with any directions you may need. Our Main Service begins at 10 a.m. in the Main Auditorium. You may choose to have your children remain with you for the entire worship service or at the announced time (during announcement) they are invited to depart the auditorium to attend a service designed especially for children ages 4 to 11. We also have a nursery available for infants through 3 years of age.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
There is not a strict dress code at FaithWay for our members or guests. In case you are wondering, our ministry leaders and many of our church members dress from casual to Sunday best. You will probably find Pastor Adrian wearing dress pants and a polo. Our main goal is that you feel welcome and comfortable for your visit to FaithWay Community Church.
WHAT CAN I EXPECT IN THE WORSHIP SERVICE?
Singing
Every service gives you an opportunity to join us in singing songs, hymns and spiritual songs as a congregation.
Prayer
We are a church that believes in prayer.
Preaching
We consider the preaching and teaching of the Word of God to be the most important time of the service. We believe that the best help you can get comes from the instruction you receive from the Word of God.
Offering
FaithWay does not pass offering plates. Instead, believing that Biblical giving is to be willing, purposeful and joyful, (1 Corinthians 16:2, 2 Corinthians 8:12, 2 Corinthians 9:7) we, as God’s people, worship by presenting back to God a portion of that which He has blessed us with. A locked box will be available for providing your offering, and we have online giving available as well.
We Invite You To Come Visit Us!!!
If you cannot come on Sunday morning then we invite you to visit one of Bible studies and youth groups that are held throughout the week.
